How To Make Every Day A Great Day | 3 Easy Steps

Each day that you wake up is a gift. Therefore it is important we make the most of every day. It is important to start your day with confidence and a great mindset. You would be surprised how easy it is to make your day a great day within the first hour you wake up. I have tried these tips myself and they definitely make a huge difference. Here are 3 tips to make every day a great day:
Don’t worry, I don’t mean doing an advanced yoga routine, but this tradition does come from a yoga study. Many studies show that people who do a few stretches in the morning have less anxiety and more focus throughout their day. I noticed that stretching in the morning helped me feel awake quicker even though I am not a morning person. Doing just 3 different types of stretches for 1 minute each can make a big difference in how you feel in the morning.
I know that sounds terrible but hear me out. Water for breakfast is another way of saying to consume water first thing in the morning. Before you go to the bathroom, before you get your cup of coffee, or before you eat. DRINK SOME WATER. Studies show that the body becomes very dehydrated overnight due to going so long without water when you sleep. If you make sure water is the first thing you put in your body for the day, then your body will be able to replenish itself much sooner than if you waited. The water will help wake up your body, hydrate your brain, and get your metabolism moving faster. I can’t go a day without drinking water first thing in the morning because I can truly see the difference it makes.
After I stretch, I sit at the kitchen table and drink my cup of water while I write down my thoughts. First, I write down my feelings and write about what I want to improve on for the day. Then, I will write down all of the goals I would like to accomplish for the day. When you write down what is on your mind, not only is it a way good way to vent, but it is also a great way to clear your mind. It’s like a morning reset. When your mind is reset, you have the ability to focus on your daily goals. It is important to have a great mindset and know what you want to accomplish.
If you do all three of these steps, your mornings will be the highlight of your day. Do these steps 3 days in a row and tell us how they worked for you in the comment section below.
“ Write it on your heart that every day is the best day in the year.”

I loved this article! Stretching in the morning is a necessity for me, especially if I’m sore from working out the day before. I am super excited to start writing down my thoughts and feelings in the morning. I love the idea of a morning reset that clears my mind and allows me to focus on my daily goals. Thanks for the inspiration!
